How To Keep Your Skin and Hair Beautiful During Winter!

Since it is snowing right now and the air is dry I thought I'd give you my secret tips to keeping healthy glowing skin and hair. I should really follow this more myself but I have a few tricks and tips to keeping your skin and hair moisturized and not dry.

My number 1 top secret is coconut oil! Coconut oil is GOD. Everything about it is amazing. I use an organic coconut oil so there's nothing bad about it. Before I go to bed after I wash my face I use CO on my face, on my scalp (not a lot just a thin layer), always make sure you get your neck, elbows, knees, legs after I take a shower! Everywhere! I use the one from Cunningham Farms. It keeps everything set for the winter time!

For my curly, frizzy hair conditioning it is must! I deep condition my hair 2 twice a week. This might mean I have to wake up an extra half hour earlier to do so. Especially since it's cold and I air dry my hair it takes longer to dry. Sometimes I will use the defuser on my hair dryer to make it at least half dry so I don't get sick. But always conditioning your hair will help keep the moisture in and dryness OUT!

My favorite kind lotions always come from The Body Shop! I've been using them for years and I love them. I usually put lotion on before I go to bed and wake up feeling great! I always carry small handbag lotions from Bath and Body Works just in case! 

One of my favorite new products that I've been using a lot this winter is the Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. I'm sure everyone can agree when I say nails are the hardest to maintain. I always feel like my nail cuticles are peeling but not with this! I put it on every morning after I finish my makeup. I've notice a big difference since!

LIPS LIPS LIPS!!!!!! I can't explain how important keeping your lips moisturized!!!! I keep legit 2 lip glosses, chapsticks, sugar lip scrubs in my purse or jacket at all times during winter! There's nothing worse then talking to someone with chapped lips. I feel like that's all you focus on. DO NOT lick your lips while outside! You don't want Kylie lips that are chapped... My favorites are Vaseline lip therapy (it's tiny and will fit anywhere!), Fresh Sugar Lips (Amazing! But very expensive...I got one last year or the year before for my b-day gift from Sephora! Still have it! A little goes a long way!), Baby Lips by Maybelline, EOS lip balm (if you feel like your lip sphere is dry take a plastic knife or knife and shave off around it. It should make it soft again.), and Burt's Bees!  

Keeping your skin healthy and glowy is essential during winter. It's hard to keep up because as humans we get lazy but true not to be lazy this winter! You are going to thank yourself in the end!

Change Can Be Good!

Do you ever feel like you need to start over and revaluate your life. I must do this at least 3 times a year! All around the same time too! About this time, around my birthday and right before school starts. I like change! Change is good at times when it comes to oneself! (Changing places and friends, ect. is a whole different thing!) I like changing up my hair color, my clothes, and even my attitude! I guess it may come with the seasons and being a fashion design major fashion is always changing and so am I.

How To Curl Hair That Wont Curl!!!

Do you ever have those days were your hair just doesn't curl!!! Something I straighten my hair but want to have banana curls. Only thing is it will never curl! Ironic because my hair is super curly! But I found a way to curl my hair and have it stay! I have a video of the quick and easy way to do so! I do suggest when you have the time to curl it like this to do so but if you have to go out really quick this may not be  the best thing to do!

Channeling my inner Beyonce

ALL THE SINGLE LADIES PUT YOUR HANDS UP! Says the wise words from Queen Bey. Earlier this week I was playing around with my newly colored hair and tried out a new technique to curl it! (more on this soon!! I filmed a tutorial!) I looked at myself in the mirror and said wow...I'm channeling my inner Beyonce right now! But really, who wouldn't want to be Queen Bey! She's amazing! With or without her weave ;) She can rock anything! I admire her for that and that's why I put up these pictures! Just as a little joke of course!

          So on a scale of 1 to Beyonce how much do I look like her! ;D haha!

New York Minute!!! - My trip to the BIG APPLE!

Hello Everyone!!

        So last week I went to New York City! The Big Apple!!! The Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made!!! I love New York so much! I was so happy to get away for a few days to go. I went there to go to Mood fabrics to pick up Wool fabric for one of my classes for next year and I saw so much more! I got to go to Good Morning America and see the outside set! I was on TV btdubbs!!! Tots amazing!!! My 5 seconds of FAME!
       When I was there I saw the cast of Teen Beach Movie, Stacy Keibler, and Court Yard Hounds aka the sisters of the Dixie Chicks!!! So amazing!!! Here's the video footage and some pictures from New York!! I'm going to write a review of Dream Dry soon as well!!! I loved it and I want to tell you about my experience while there!!

Get The Look : Emily Fields Pretty Little Liars

Hey Everyone!!!! Here's part 2 of 4 for Get The Look for the girls of Pretty Little Liars! I love this show so much that I had to recreate the looks of the girls! Their style is amazing and they always look so put together!

        If you want to get Emily's look here's what you got to do. Emily has really defined eyes and she never wears too much makeup. If anything it's waterproof from swimming! I suggest just a bit of color on the eyes and eyeliner winged out! For hair Emily always has a really laid back look. I kept my hair straight and down. Emily usually has it wavy. Lastly Emily's style is very sporty meets a hint of girly! She wears a baseball shirt in one episode with a pair of jeans and combat boots so that's what I wore as well!! I really hope you dolls love this look and I'll talk to you soon!!! xx

Hair tutorial & Hanna Marin Tutorial! Hello Summer Day 5 + 6

Hey Everyone!!! So sorry for not putting up my video from yesterday! I've been way busy and I haven't had the time or energy to put up the blog. I wanted to do a hair tutorial of a look I love to do during summer! Putting braids in your hair will keep your hair off your face while cooling you down! This is one of my favorite looks to do when braiding my hair!

I also have one more video! In honor of Pretty Little Liars coming back to television I'm re-putting up my Pretty Little Liars transformations! Instead of calling them Glamfourmations because that didn't really catch on...but have no fear! The video is right here!

The Plan + Pick What New Color Hair I Should Get!!

Hey Dolls!
      Long time no talk I know!!! So bad! But I'm back! I've come up with a plan that I will hopefully stick to for the remainder of the school year. Just categories to talk about and what not. I know I can't blog everyday but I want to try as much as I can! So bare with me lovelies!

Girl Talk - Girl Talk is going to be me talking about everything girly related! For example; makeup, hair, face products, nail polish! Anything like that! I will be having a lot of nail of the days as well! I paint my nails at least once a week here! I also want to review a ton of new products I've tried out!

Let's Talk Fashion - If you have just started following my blog LTF is all about trends that are going around in the fashion world! I've only done one post but it's a start!

Style My World - Here I'll be talking about traveling, well places I dream to travel to. I'll include pictures of the places, fashion from there! Maybe even include a few bloggers/celebrities from the places I want to travel to.

SJP - Don't be confused by SJP it's not Sarah Jessica Parker! This section is called Shoes, Jewelry, Purses! Pretty self explanatory I think!

Look of the Day - LOTD will be my outfit of the day! I don't get to take pictures of my outfits alot when I'm here at college but my roommate does like to take pictures so I'm going to have her help me out!

The Look - This section will be of blogger and/or celebrities with outfits I love! I think I may change the name of this one but I'll have to wait and see! :)

With every post I will include bits and pieces of my life! You know I love to tell stories!
College is going so good! I've been keeping busy though! I've met so many awesome people here! Go CRC!!! Common Room Club! haha! Can you believe we became friends because we all studied in the common room on our floor and we all just clicked!! I think I may need to thank Taylor Swift for that one haha! Love it! They are great! haha!
OK, well I'm headed off to bed! I'm not promising that I'll have a post up everyday because odds on it I wont! But I'm going to blog as much as I can! So keep in touch! PS!!! I want to dye my hair again! But have no clue what color to do it! I found 2 pictures of Olivia Palermo who'd hair I love! I think I might want to do this but you have to let me know! So PLEASE comment on what color hair I should try out!!! 1. Dark brown? Possibly even darker then the picture shown. or 2. Light brown again? But a little more lighter?
