Big Things Are Coming!

Today I am excited to tell you my new schedule for my blog and Youtube! Are you ready for this....EVERYDAY!!! Well Monday through Friday! June is going to be a great month of new content, fun post that will give you great ideas, and so much more. I've been thinking about this for a while now and I can't wait to share all my new posts with you!

Everyday has a theme, a blog post and possibly a new video to go with it! Monday is Haute Off The Press Mondays! A nod to my old blog name, on this day I will show you everything I've been loving from fashion to makeup and maybe even some music here and there! I will also inform you if there are any good sales going on because who doesn't love a good sale right!

Tuesday is Beauty Tuesdays! As in the name, I'm going post anything beauty related! On this day I hope to have tutorials or reviews up on my YouTube channel but you can always check in here for the video too!! Plus I will link all the products I'm using and more information about them.

What To Wear Wednesdays is next!!!! There are so many events coming up from family BBQ's to concerts to weddings and I'm here to tell you what to wear! So, if you have similar style to me you'll love this series!! All outfits will be affordable with splurges here and there!

Hair and Now Thursdays! All on how I style my curly hair! I haven't done many hair tutorials and I want to get more into them because online is where I learned how to style my curly hair! Having curly is like having a second job!!! It's really tough, annoying, crushing but it can also be very rewarding, fun, and different!

Finally, on Friday I'm going to post a podcast!!!!! Life According to Lizz! You can find my first 2 on iTunes by searching my name! I love to talk so this is like having my own little talk show! I hope I can get some of my friends on it too one day! Topics will vary from overviews of my post from the week to new topics!

I'm so excited about this series and I hope it's the start of something amazing for my blog!!! I'm trying so hard get more content out there for you so write below what you want to see or what you can't wait to see!!!

Marc Jacobs Beauty and Brandy Melville Haul!

You know the saying "Shopping is my Cardio." Well I live true to this quote...
Some say I'm a shopaholic but let's face it I'm just helping out the economy!
I went into the city to go shopping for back to school with my little cousin Elise. We didn't do much just went into Brandy and Sephora!
First off...Marc Jacobs + Makeup = WEAKNESS!!!!
Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite designers and well...I'm pretty much obsessed with makeup. I had to at least buy one thing! So I bought a lipgloss because it would be something I used often but will have for a while! I love the color! The long lasting appeal is great! Also it's Marcy Marc...enough said.
At Brandy Melville I've been trying to hunt down a couple of things. One of which I found!! They are just basic short sleeved shirts that are cropped. White, Black and Navy. Now I need to sew myself a few pairs of high waisted shorts and pants...

Get The Look : Emily Fields Pretty Little Liars

Hey Everyone!!!! Here's part 2 of 4 for Get The Look for the girls of Pretty Little Liars! I love this show so much that I had to recreate the looks of the girls! Their style is amazing and they always look so put together!

        If you want to get Emily's look here's what you got to do. Emily has really defined eyes and she never wears too much makeup. If anything it's waterproof from swimming! I suggest just a bit of color on the eyes and eyeliner winged out! For hair Emily always has a really laid back look. I kept my hair straight and down. Emily usually has it wavy. Lastly Emily's style is very sporty meets a hint of girly! She wears a baseball shirt in one episode with a pair of jeans and combat boots so that's what I wore as well!! I really hope you dolls love this look and I'll talk to you soon!!! xx

Ray Ban & Zoya & 18th Birthday!!

Hey Everyone! First off sorry for not updating as much! I'm been crazy busy with finishing up school (12 days in counting!), tennis matches, and trying to get everything ready for my T-Shirt brand! Lo Down Apparel! Check out the website here! www.lodownapparel.blogspot.com 

Yesterday (the 8th) was my 18th birthday!!! Can you believe it I'm 18 years old! It's so weird saying that!!! I didn't get much for my birthday, senior living is hard work I guess...so I asked for gift cards to Nordstrom so I could get the Ray Ban sunglasses!!! Miley Cyrus herself has the same pair! I don't know if they are in the same color but I do know she has round Ray Bans! I love them! Can you say summer sunglasses!!! Then I went to Ulta and got this Zoya nail polish to try out! Eva Chen beauty editor of Teen Vogue RAVES about these!!! I've been looking all over for them and finally found some! Can't wait to try it out!!!  

Runway Rave : Elie Saab RTW 2012

When I went onto Style.com and saw that Elie Saab had a new 2012 Ready-To-Wear collection I clicked on it asap! I can't even explain how much I love this collection! The dresses (which are my favorite thing in the whole world! No girl could ever have to many dresses!) are amazing! I love how body con they are! I think showing off your curves is a great thing! God didn't make your body for nothing! Right! The collection's name is Urban Elegance which is a perfect name! I didn't get every outfit in this post (ovbs...) but the first couple of pieces they showed on the runway were very urban chic! Grays, skirt suits, beautiful pieces! I could totally see this collection on the streets of New York. Fashion forward business ladies walking to work with their iPhones in hand by day and at night going to an art gala opening in one of the chic dresses. 

Another thing I loved about this collection is the colors! Black, cream, and emerald! The splash of emerald green is maj! It fit within the collection without trying to hard. 

Not only was the color great but so was the draping! Below, there are a dress and a shirt, both have some kind of draping to them. The cream shirt looks so chic and new! I'd buy that in a minute! The black dresses on the last picture I posted, both of them have kind of a web like detailing...so maj! And the dress to your right, it's emerald green, I can totally see anyone from Anne Hathaway to Elle Fanning in it! Gezz, I want to wear it! haha! Now only if I had a red carpet event to wear it too?! That's the million dollar question! ;D

Day 15 : Video Preview!

Hey Dolls! So sorry for this lame blog preview...I had work so I couldn't put my video up...now I have to do Stats...again..for homework... :( *tear!* I did go "Christmas" Shopping today! I went to Hollister to get some jeans and socks haha! Oh and yoga pants! More later on that...I really hope I don't have to work tomorrow because I really want to go shopping some more tomorrow! My Mom said I can get the Steve Madden boots I want instead of Uggs this year. I'm completely fine with that!! haha! I want this boots soooo badly!! Can't wait! XOXO!

Day 14 : The Ripped Sweater and Printed Scarf

Hey Dolls!! So quicky post today! I have to do my Stats homework...Senioritous is getting to me..(basically when your a Senior in high school and don't feel like doing homework or anything till the last minute..)haha! Well, I hope you enjoy this post! I got this scarf and sweater the other day as an "early" Christmas present to myself :D

Day 11 : Trend It Report It {Red Jeans}

Hey Dolls!!! So today I have a Trend It Report It post!! So by a show of virtual hands how many people have seen or worn red skinny/jeggings???? I know I have! I'm always seeing people with red pants and I really want a pair!! Especially before the trend fades!!

I found this picture of Jessica Alba online one day. She's so chic! I love her style!!! If I had red jeans I would wear them like this as well! Just throw on a cute pair of heels or flats like the ones from Steve Madden or TOMS (in the picture above) and a cute tote bag like this one from Michael Kors! Oh and don't forget your Starbucks! You need to make sure your up and ready for the day looking fabulous! Not sleepy and tired from a long day of school or work from the other day!

I choose these three red pants to show on my blog because they are from 3 brands that I love to wear!

1. American Eagle Jeggings {$44.50} I saw these in American Eagle the other day and fell IN LOVE with them! I told my Mom I wanted them and she was like...ya..nice try haha! Sometimes she doesn't understand what's going on in my mind...but what is is the picture of Jessica Alba that I saw! I need them!! :D

2. Joe's Jean The Skinny {$158.00} I love Joe's Jeans and now that they have just about every color of jeans (that not going to lie I've been eyeing forever since I saw the ad in Teen Vogue Magazine!)

3. Fire Skinny Stretch Denim Jeans {$42.00} I love stretch jeans! They are so comfy! You know sometimes when it's that time of the month or sometimes you just eat that extra helping of delish food and well...you feel that your jean's button is about to break and hit a piece glass so it cracks...(like from a movie haha!) Gotta love stretch jeans <3

Day 9 : Color Blocking vs Natural!

Hey Dolls! So, I ment to have a video post for you dolls today but I had to go to a school play, then it was like 10 o'clock and now it's to late... :( I was/am still very tired! I have to make this post kind of quick tonight because I have work at like 8 o'clock tomorrow...wah...but hey! It's more money to put towards another purse or new clothes! I'm going through a "My clothes are so last year" thing right now. It's more like "I still have clothes from the 7th and 8th grade that I still wear...can you say embarrassing! Ok! Day 8 : Polyvore Love!

Hey Dolls! So once again no outfit post...But I can assure you that I AM dressing up to school everyday! haha! I just sometimes can't find the time to take pictures...I've made a Bucket List or things I want to do before the end of 2012 list! Update on that later!
       I made a Polyvore today! I've actually been on polyvore for like 5 years now but I lost the email to my old account and well...I think they might have deleted it...wahhh...so upset! But have no fear I've made another one HERE! Someone took GirlMeetsFashion name so I used ElizzabethHopeGMF. GMF if you haven't  picked up from it yet is Girl Meets Fashion haha! Day 6 : Girl Meets Fashion Christmas Wish List!

Hey Dolls! So I decided to do something different today and make my Christmas Wish List! Even though I pretty much know what I'm getting this year I think I may be in for a few surprises!

1. iPad! I've been wanting an iPad for a while now! I need something that's easy access when needing to look up something quick and an iPhone isn't really it...Plus I want to get a Nook but instead the iPad has a book store which I can buy books on it! and Magazines! Just sayin...

Day 5 : It's a Preppy kind of day!

Hey Dolls!! So it's Monday night and I'm sitting on the cough watching my favorite show just about ever! Gossip Girl! I Love this show!! Esp. the fashion! <3 heart it! So I guess you can say I debuted my Michael Kors tote today! I felt so amazing carrying it around! It kind of sad but I love it! I worked hard for it! I think that's what makes it special. :) Well here's my outfit! Hope you like! I kind of wish I didn't wear these boots with it but seriously I don't have any other shoes that really went with it...sad face...Anyway here it is! 

Day 4 : Welcome Michael Kors!

Hello Dolls!!  First off....sorry for not having an outfit of the day up today :/ I didn't have time to take pictures today. wah.. Second! Today I finally went to Nords and got my Michael Kors Tote!! I've been eyeing this bag for a while now and finally decided to get it! It was between the brown and red. As much as I loved the red it just wasn't something I could see as an everyday purse.. :/ But the good thing is I can always get it another day when I get the money or this Pink one that I love as well!! It's so cute!!! I love purses! I wish I could buy them all! Then I could have one for every outfit! It's in the size medium so I was kind of worried if it was going to fix all my stuff for my purse but I think it will! I'll update you on that later on! This MK purse is now added into my collection of designer purses! Along side another MK crossbody and more! :D Love it! Shopaholic much... :P Psh...noo! Just a girl who LOVES fashion.

Day 3 : The Girl in the Green Sweater

Hello Dolls!! So first off I'd like to say sorry for the below-par pictures...my mom is the worst picture taker in the world...she really didn't want to take them...exhibit A: why I need a tripod! Next sorry I look like death...I think I'm getting a cold..everyone in my house is sick...it so gross! That's one thing I HATE! Sick people! Like ew no get away... I could never be a nurse..it's sad haha! 

50 mins later (I just took a nap...haha! I'm so tired! Thought I add that in haha!) 

Ok, So back to my story! I don't know how "fashionable" this outfit is but remember! This is about a girl who has just met fashion ;D (well...not just met...I met fashion when I was very young...) but what I'm trying to do is expand my fashion wall...I love all kinds of fashion! Preppy, girly, boho, glam, edgy! So any looks to create but not enough days in a year! So don't forget to follow my fashion journey this year, the next, the one after that, and well...forever :)
