January IPSY Glam Bag Review

Sunday, January 22, 2017

Today's I'm here with something a little different! I'm going to review my first ever Ipsy Glam Bag! I was so excited to get this in the mail this month. I finally decided to hope on the glam bag train and I'm already super excited! My bag came with 5 different products. Two (I guess you can say) are full sized, the nail polish and the two masks.

Pretty Women nail polish in "I'm Not A Ballerina" $7.99 (Check it out HERE)
The perfect pink nail polish! I'm 100% getting more nail polishes from Pretty Women. The brush is amazing, which is something I look for in nail polishes. Since I don't get my nails done every week or really every month (honestly it's been since May....) and honestly I can paint my nails and have them look semi professional so the perfect brush is key!

Love Recipe : Aloe and Acai Berry Sheet Mask $1.50 each (Check it out HERE)
I don't think I've ever felt a soft sheet mask like this one! It didn't feel paper thin like it was going to break as I opened it up and for $1.50 and I think these were a hit!!!! My fave out of the two was the Acai Berry!

ModelCo Blush in Peach Bellini (Check it out HERE) $22 for a full sized.
Just checked and I have a 3.5g of this blush and the full sized one is 8g.
I'm totally obsessed with this blush! It has a nice glowy effect to it as well. I think the color is perfect and the fact that is has almost like a pink highlight tone to it makes it even better! 100% recommend! The pigmentation is amazing as well!

Smashbox BB Cream (Full sized $39) Check it out HERE
Ughhhh I wanted to love this so much more then I do! Especially now after seeing my face on screen! It didn't blend well at all, I didn't like the texture it was giving my face and I only liked it after I put translucent powder and concealer on. I took off that I don't want any more bb creams and foundations in my glam bag because I don't think it's worth it for a two time use product. I wasn't so camera ready....(get it because it called camera ready bb cream)

Manna Kadar Cosmetics "Fantasy 3-in-1 eyeshadow" : $19 (Check it out HERE)
Another one...I wanted to like this so much more then I did!!!!!! The pigmentation just wasn't there and I wished it was!!! I'm going to give it another try to use some MAC Fix+ on it soon.

Overall I really loved my bag even though I had a few products I didn't completely love. I'm so excited to get my next one in February and you can 100% bet I'll be doing more reviews! But for right now check out my video now!

Hello Loves,

Today I have something a little different for you!!!!!! I'm 99.9% positive that this is my first Halloween makeup tutorial!!! I can't believe I've been on Youtube for 6 years and haven't done this yet! I've been loving all the Harley Quinn makeup looks on YouTube and I finally decided to do one myself! But with a twist of course! A Zombie twist!!!! I really wanted to do a pop art zombie look and a Harley Quinn look so I decided to blend them together! I am so happy how this turned out! I'm so very proud of myself for finishing this because as you watch it I stopped and redid my blue eye. I was going to quit right there and then but I continued on with the tutorial! I really hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think! Also I changed my background! I made it myself! I think I'm going to keep it for a few videos! I'm trying to rebrand myself a little bit as you may or may not notice. Just because I've been here for so long...it's time for a few changes!

ps- yes...I did the N backwards...I didn't notice till I looked at the pictures...

Kylie Lip Kit Mini Mattes Review!

Monday, September 19, 2016

Hello loves,

If you have been following me for a while then you would know how much I love the Kardashian/Jenners. I love their style, makeup, and how confident they are. The youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, has come out with her own line of makeup. First she just sold liquid matte lipsticks and now it has expanded to eyeshadows, eyeliner, cream shadows, metallic liquid lipsticks and glosses! It is growing so fast and selling out even faster!
During the first stock of her birthday collection I wasn't so successful in getting anything. I was on the website for so long before it opened and still didn't get anything!!!! About a week later she had a restock! I wasn't expecting anything especially what had happened the first time. But I tried anyway because I knew I wanted the mini mattes!!! My fairy godmother must have been on my shoulders because I got the mini mattes! I was so happy since the only color I had was Poise K (picture below! I also included that one since it was the only other color I had). I really loved how Poise K looked on me and was excited to see how the others would too. Since I was so skeptical about the other colors, constantly going on Instagram to see what the colors would look like on me, I bowed out and just never gave in to buy a new color. I knew I would like Poise K because I love pink lipsticks. It was the brown colors that I was worried about the most. Turns out I LOVE the brown colors on me!!!! I couldn't tell you which is my favorite because I love them all!
If you are worried that they are so small DONT! They provide alot of applications! I've already used Dolce K about 7 or 8 times and I still have alot! I will keep you updated! Other than that this stay on for a while! I did notice when wearing Dolce K out with my friends this weekend that it started to peal away a little but I didn't didn't apply lipliner so I wonder if it would make a difference? I was talking ton, eating and drinking, and sweating so alot of going on because of that. I wiped away what I could with a tissue (don't wet it because it wont come off!) and reapplied it about 3 times during the night. Not a total problem I just don't want to be embarrassed with half my lipstick on!

{TIP} Having trouble taking off your liquid lipsticks?? Use coconut oil to take it off!!!!

First off, Kristen (my Mom's name is Kristin with an I), Loved this because I felt like it has a brown undertone. It's a bright red but it's toned down in a way. More natural than Mary Jo K and more toned down than 22. I would wear more of a brown smokey eye with this liquid lip.

My first Kylie Lip Kit! I love this color because it's not so much "in your face" pink. It's a nice neutral pink that goes well with a lot of different makeup looks.

(Candy K)
This pinky nude is great with smokey makeup. I thought I wasn't going to like this because I'm not used to nude colors for lips but it's a great everyday color that I know I was be using up right away!!!!

(I believe this is Exposed over something)
Okay, so I believe this is exposed but I know I blended this color with another one from MAC! But this color is pretty accurate! I didn't think I was going to like this after I swatched it because it was more on the orange side. But I think it's more of an orange nude color once it dries. Like this but the makeup needs to be natural. Nothing too crazy because I'm afraid it will look too overdone.

PS - I'm selling this and more chokers on etsy!!! Check it out!!! Good Prices! $2-$15
https://www.etsy.com/shop/ElizzabethHope

(Leo {limited edition you can still buy it HERE!})
Leo, oh Leo.....When I tried it on in the video it was so patchy!!! Lighter in one area, darker in the other. I hated it! I loved the color but the formula I thought was horrible! Well, I tried it again because it deserved a second chance and I ended up liking it. You need to apply it a few times and try to make the applications as smooth as possible to get an even tone.

Ahhh....Dolce Dolce Dolce! I'm obsessed with this color! Get color for day and at night when going out with friends! I got so many compliments from wearing this color! I was worried at first because I'm not used to brown colors like this. It's so 90s! But once I tried it on I was so happy!!! Goes great with a lot of makeup looks tooo!!!

Koko K is a nude pink. My friend Erica has this one and she is loves with it! I love this one too because I think it looks really great with green eyes! Actually it would look good with any colored eyes! Great light pink color!!

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation - First Impression

Wednesday, July 6, 2016

Hello Loves,

I decided to try a new foundation today! Not only is it only $12 but I actually like it! I usually don't LOVE drugstore foundations. They somehow always make me break out or don't work like how I want them to. I'm a big believe of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but I'm trying to expand my makeup collection since it's been awhile since I've used my makeup. Out with the old and in with the new!!

The L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation is a liquid foundation that helps "brighten" your skin so it is luminous. There is 40% pure water so your skin will be hydrated all day. Also antioxidants vitamins C and E to help improve clarity and your skin tone.

I would suggest this foundation to my friends who have dry skin that want hydration! If you have oily skin I would probably say this foundation is a no-go for you.

When applying the foundation I used a flat buffer foundation brush that was more condense and helps gives the "airbrushed" glow. It's one of my favorite ways to apply foundation!

After having the foundation on for the whole day I found that it was hard to not want to touch my face. I felt that I could still feel the foundation on my face which I don't like but it didn't bother me too much. I feel like I would have to watch out for people's clothes if I was to go to hug them because I would be too afraid that I'd get makeup on their clothes. But that is how most foundations are and since this one is very liquidity it only makes sense that it will move around on the face throughout the day. With that, I do think it is pretty lightweight! Not cakey!

That is all I have to say about the Lumi foundation! Great for the price! I love that I didn't have to spend $50 for my foundation this time around! I'd give it a 4 out of 5 stars!

Have you tried the Lumi Foundation! How did you like it? Comment below!

MAC Warm Neutral Palette Fall Makeup Tutorial

Wednesday, September 2, 2015

Ohemgeeee guys!!! Long time no talk! It's been while. I know. I've been back and fourth about so many things for the past summer. Like changing my url again to changing up the content on my blog/youtube channel. It drove me crazy for so long but I've finally decided to just go with it! Just relax! Do what I want! That is why I started this blog so many years ago!!! Just to do what I love and have fun!! I decided to go back to what I love to do. Make videos and blog about my favorite fashion trends and outfits. I've missed just making videos of what I love and not having pressure to put out stuff that people want to see. Of course, I will always take request because I love hearing from you dolls! But there are things that I love to do that I will be doing more!!

So! I just put up a new makeup tutorial! I have a new set up and wish I thought of this sooner!!! (and of course I'm going back to school next week but I'm hopefully going to be filming there too! I just need to see how everything is set up.)

My new favorite palette is the MAC Warm Neutral Palette. I bought it a few months ago and totally fell in love! I bought the warm palette because of my skin tone. I thought it would bring out the "tan" but not so tan skin. (Thank god for self tanner because I got no sun this summer! But that is also okay! I may talk more about that later) Check out my new look for fall using this palette.

Lots of Love,
Lizz

Marc Jacobs Beauty and Brandy Melville Haul!

Tuesday, September 3, 2013

You know the saying "Shopping is my Cardio." Well I live true to this quote...
Some say I'm a shopaholic but let's face it I'm just helping out the economy!
I went into the city to go shopping for back to school with my little cousin Elise. We didn't do much just went into Brandy and Sephora!
First off...Marc Jacobs + Makeup = WEAKNESS!!!!
Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite designers and well...I'm pretty much obsessed with makeup. I had to at least buy one thing! So I bought a lipgloss because it would be something I used often but will have for a while! I love the color! The long lasting appeal is great! Also it's Marcy Marc...enough said.
At Brandy Melville I've been trying to hunt down a couple of things. One of which I found!! They are just basic short sleeved shirts that are cropped. White, Black and Navy. Now I need to sew myself a few pairs of high waisted shorts and pants...

Here's the video of the Haul!!! Check it out! Enjoy! If you want a crop top lookbook let me know in the comments!!!
