February IPSY Glam Bag Review

Friday, February 24, 2017

Ohmygod! Second Ipsy Glam Bag and it's 10/10!
I'm already loving this whole Ipsy thing! I know I was late on the bandwagon and I don't know how I lived without it!!! This whole bag was only $10!!!!!! If you'd like to join you can always use my code! https://www.ipsy.com/new?cid=ppage_ref&sid=link&refer=10gbnd This code is just a referral code. I think it will give me 250 points (whatever that means lol) but only if you join too! I know when I joined I was on a waitlist at first but with this code I'm pretty sure you won't be on a waitlist!

Now on to this months bag!

Luxie Rose Gold Blush Brush 514 : $18 (and the bag all together is $10 which means I already got my moneys worth plush more!)
The first thing I was really excited about was the Luxie Brush! I always get excited when I get new brushes in my collection and ohmylanta this one is amazing! I've never had a brush so soft before! It's PERFECT (and I mean perfection!) to put blush on!!!!! Glides on like butter! They are also vegan and cruelty free which is an added bonus! The bristles are so soft on your face! I love this and would without a doubt recomend to a friend! 5/5

I love NYX as a brand in whole! You can't beat this price, quality and color! I've been looking for a new red lipstick and this is it! I like it because it has a bit of a berry magenta color to it too. The NYX butter lipsticks are perfect for winter, which I'm going through right now! They are like lipbalm but in a lipstick form! 5/5

Omg....I just checked the price of this and if this is a full size which I think it is, then just OMG...So good! I'm obsessed with the color! The velvet texture is 100%! The lavender color is perfect for my skin color! You can put this really anywhere! Eyeshadows, highlighters, on your collarbone even your legs!!! I'm pretty sure Luna by Luna is a new brand so go and give them some love! I really want to try out there eyeshadows soon too because the color looks amazing! 5/5

Biobelle #StayGorgeous and #IWokeUpLikeThis : $4.99 each
These all natural sheet masks are so good! I tried #StayGorgeous and absolutely loved it!!! My skin felt great after using it! It didn't feel sticky which I always look for since I feel like alot of sheet masks are sticky after you use them. My skin felt smooth and hydrated which is great since I have really dry skin! 5/5

Now, after you've seen how many my bag was so far I was a little disappointed with this one! Only because I felt like the pan could have been bigger! Especially with a bronzer and your using a huge brush. I couldn't fit a brush and felt like it was useless to use....BUT!!!!! With that being said I did use it as a nose contour which I did like. I could also use it as a base eyeshadow too! I know how popular this product is, I just wished the pan size was bigger. 3/5

So all together my Glam Bag should really cost $56.98!!!!!!!! (That's minus Elizabeth Mott one. I'm pretty sure every other product was in it's full size) I'm still in awe with how amazing my Glam Bag was this month! I really loved all the products and can't wait to get my March bag! I give this bag a 10/10 hearts!!!

Lots of Love

Update : here's my very late video on the glam bag where I talk a little more about the products and how they look!

January IPSY Glam Bag Review

Sunday, January 22, 2017

Today's I'm here with something a little different! I'm going to review my first ever Ipsy Glam Bag! I was so excited to get this in the mail this month. I finally decided to hope on the glam bag train and I'm already super excited! My bag came with 5 different products. Two (I guess you can say) are full sized, the nail polish and the two masks.

Pretty Women nail polish in "I'm Not A Ballerina" $7.99 (Check it out HERE)
The perfect pink nail polish! I'm 100% getting more nail polishes from Pretty Women. The brush is amazing, which is something I look for in nail polishes. Since I don't get my nails done every week or really every month (honestly it's been since May....) and honestly I can paint my nails and have them look semi professional so the perfect brush is key!

Love Recipe : Aloe and Acai Berry Sheet Mask $1.50 each (Check it out HERE)
I don't think I've ever felt a soft sheet mask like this one! It didn't feel paper thin like it was going to break as I opened it up and for $1.50 and I think these were a hit!!!! My fave out of the two was the Acai Berry!

ModelCo Blush in Peach Bellini (Check it out HERE) $22 for a full sized.
Just checked and I have a 3.5g of this blush and the full sized one is 8g.
I'm totally obsessed with this blush! It has a nice glowy effect to it as well. I think the color is perfect and the fact that is has almost like a pink highlight tone to it makes it even better! 100% recommend! The pigmentation is amazing as well!

Smashbox BB Cream (Full sized $39) Check it out HERE
Ughhhh I wanted to love this so much more then I do! Especially now after seeing my face on screen! It didn't blend well at all, I didn't like the texture it was giving my face and I only liked it after I put translucent powder and concealer on. I took off that I don't want any more bb creams and foundations in my glam bag because I don't think it's worth it for a two time use product. I wasn't so camera ready....(get it because it called camera ready bb cream)

Manna Kadar Cosmetics "Fantasy 3-in-1 eyeshadow" : $19 (Check it out HERE)
Another one...I wanted to like this so much more then I did!!!!!! The pigmentation just wasn't there and I wished it was!!! I'm going to give it another try to use some MAC Fix+ on it soon.

Overall I really loved my bag even though I had a few products I didn't completely love. I'm so excited to get my next one in February and you can 100% bet I'll be doing more reviews! But for right now check out my video now!

Lots of Love,

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation - First Impression

Wednesday, July 6, 2016

Hello Loves,

I decided to try a new foundation today! Not only is it only $12 but I actually like it! I usually don't LOVE drugstore foundations. They somehow always make me break out or don't work like how I want them to. I'm a big believe of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but I'm trying to expand my makeup collection since it's been awhile since I've used my makeup. Out with the old and in with the new!!

The L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation is a liquid foundation that helps "brighten" your skin so it is luminous. There is 40% pure water so your skin will be hydrated all day. Also antioxidants vitamins C and E to help improve clarity and your skin tone.

I would suggest this foundation to my friends who have dry skin that want hydration! If you have oily skin I would probably say this foundation is a no-go for you.

When applying the foundation I used a flat buffer foundation brush that was more condense and helps gives the "airbrushed" glow. It's one of my favorite ways to apply foundation!

After having the foundation on for the whole day I found that it was hard to not want to touch my face. I felt that I could still feel the foundation on my face which I don't like but it didn't bother me too much. I feel like I would have to watch out for people's clothes if I was to go to hug them because I would be too afraid that I'd get makeup on their clothes. But that is how most foundations are and since this one is very liquidity it only makes sense that it will move around on the face throughout the day. With that, I do think it is pretty lightweight! Not cakey!

That is all I have to say about the Lumi foundation! Great for the price! I love that I didn't have to spend $50 for my foundation this time around! I'd give it a 4 out of 5 stars!

Have you tried the Lumi Foundation! How did you like it? Comment below!
