November Wish List!

Saturday, November 8, 2014

The month of November has brought to my attention how much stuff I actually need to get...(well want to get!) From makeup to clothes(ovi!) to jewelry to everything in between! Here is my November Wish List!

Makeup!
1. Under Eye Concealer  : If anyone has suggestions for concealer please let me know! I'm trying to find one that will be good for covering dark circles!

2. Bobbi Brown Tawny Pink Lipstick : Ingrid (aka MissGlamourazzi) had on this lipstick in one of her new videos and I love it! Looks like the perfect shade for fall into winter!!

3. Kat Von D Liquid Eyeliner : I've been eyeing a new eyeliner instead of my usual MAC Carbon eyeshadow I turn into eyeliner! This one seems to get good reviews!

Fashion!
1. Poncho : I've been wanting to get a poncho since the summer but never seemed to get one! Either I'm going to make one or buy one but I have to act fast before they go out of style!

2. Plaid scarf : I had a plaid scarf that looked like one from Burberry a while  back ago but I really want one that is red! Totally random I know but I still really want one!

3. Flats : Of course, who doesn't need more shoes! One can never have too many shoes!!! I surprisingly don't have any flats except the Tory Burch ones but they don't fit me well at all and are very uncountable...I need to stretch them out or something soon!

4. Mittens : It's getting cold and I need to cover my hands!! Vineyard Vines is getting a new mittens with whales on them so obviously I need them!

Randoms!
1. Tall Mirror from Target : There's a tall mirror from Target that's around $50 I believe...So I can take pictures of my outfits for instagram!!!!

That's it for now! I can't think of anything else at the moment! Follow me on twitter and instagram to see if I get what I need this November!!!

Shirt : American Eagle (similar) | Pants : New York & Company (similar) | Shoes : Sperry (similar) | Purse : Michael Kors (similar) | Necklace : J. Crew (similar) | Ring : Pandora

I recently just got a job! Finally! I didn't have one all summer but since I'm commuting to school this semester I thought it would be a good idea to get one. I don't want to say where I work but I will say it's a whalllleee of a time! This is what I wore to orientation. Since I don't own anything from the store (YET!) I wanted to wear something that looked like it was from the store so that's why I wore this! Now that I look at the store I'm pretty sure they don't sell black clothing which is fine for me but half my closet it filled with black clothing...#FashionDesignMajorProbs

Finding The Perfect Fashion Week Outfit

Monday, September 8, 2014

Can you smell that? Ahhhhhh... Fashion Week is in the air!!!! With FW going on I couldn't help but DREAM about being there. Also of course...WHAT I WOULD WEAR! I feel like that will be one of my Top 10 Most Stressful Life Moment on deciding what to wear to fashion week. People plan weeks ahead on what they are going to wear. Some even going as far to hire stylist to help them choose their outfits (cough cough! Call me! *winks*). But...you ask me? What would I wear to FW? It would have to go something like this....

(PIC)

My first pick for what I would wear to fashion week is OF COURSE...the Carrie moment. Can I please just have my Carrie moment! This skirt! Maybe not this shirt...but those shoes...yes! I need my Carrie moment in life and I will have my Carrie moment one day I just know it! The skirt is is in at the moment. We've seen Sarah Hyland wear it and it's all over the runway! I need to make one asap pretty much...

                                                                    (PIC)                                                                                 (PIC)

OR! Maybe I'll go all Olivia Palermo business chic?! Super cute right! I feel like I want every outfit of hers in my closet...right now...(wait two seconds please...can I just say how excited I am that she's still relevant to today's universe! I LOVED her on The City and I'm still obsessed today! She's still wicked stylish and has amazing taste in clothes!) She can be edgy chic or powerful business women! I love how she pair the large belt with the blue pencil skirt. Also how she draped the studded leather jacket over her shoulders instead of wearing it. She's already photo ready! Take note!

(PIC)

ALSO! I could go all Olsen Twins on everyone and wear all black with my huge sunglass ON while watching the fashion show, duh...still chic but a bold move wearing sunglasses in a show...I feel like you need to be really important or Anna Wintour, who's obviously the most important person in fashion...she's just proving my point.

(PIC)

POSSIBLY maybe even Victoria Justice style? This would be most practical for me. I would totally wear this even as an everyday outfit! Victoria has great style! I'm so happy to see her at fashion week! Her outfit has very cool texture to it as well!

(PIC)

BUT! Let's be serious....I'm showing up to Fashion Week with this shirt! "It's Getting Haute In Here" Sparkles! Haute! LOVE! I need this shirt...like now...

So if I could take the sequined skirt, Carrie's skirt, Olivia's purse, Victoria attitude and the Olsen Twin's sunglasses I pretty much have THE PERFECT fashion week outfit!

(PIC)

PS...Look at this picture! How perfect is this scene! Anna, David, Brooklyn, Grace! AMAZING!

Tell me below in the comments what you would wear to fashion week! Or Tweet me @ElizzabethHope with pictures!!!!

HAPPY FASHION WEEK!!!!

London Day 1-5!

Monday, August 25, 2014

Wow, oh, wow have these past couple of days been an emotional roller coaster!!!! London isn't what I expected at all! Some are good and some are bad. But I want to be positive here so I will talk about the good! We ventured to Oxford Circus and that really fun! I got to see TopShop and how glorious it is! I was so overwhelmed I couldn't even think of something I want to buy! I tried on a few things but nothing fit me like I wanted them to. I'll have to try again soon! London is very loud! Like the sirens are loud and go off all the time! But the people themselves aren't loud at all. Where I come from we talk pretty loud or at least I am haha! Anyway...here is what I've been up to lately!

Outfit!
Jacket : H&M
Shirt : Forever 21
Jeans : New York & Co.
Shoes : Converse
Sunglasses : Forever 21
Fanny Pack : Karl Lagerfeld

Here's a classic London picture. This was literally the one thing I wanted to do while I was in London!!! Now that I've done this I can say I've finally done this! (check that off my bucket list!) I love that London still has these up and didn't modernize them them at all! I think they are so cool! If only they could teleport me to different places!

Big Ben!! I did a project in the 6th grade about London. It was a scrapbook on my fake travels to London. This day I got to see everything I wrote about! Big Ben is well...very BIG! The architecture is very amazing! Big Ben still works as well! The history of London is great!

The London Eye! Another place I went on my fake travels to London in the 6th grade! haha! It almost doesn't look like it rotates it's that slow!! I'm afraid of heights like this so I don't think I'll be going on it!

I believe this was the changing of the guards at 4 o'clock ON THE DOT!!!! It very cool to see! It was about 5 minutes long and no one could pass through while they were changing! The poor guys that have to be guards get tormented all day. There was one in the from and people were taking pictures with him. He looked so uncomfortable! He kept wiggling his nose! Probably because he wanted to sneeze because of all the body oder! Imagine how stinky it must be with all those people from all over the place!!!

And lastly of course my palace...I mean Queen Elizabeth's Buckingham Palace! It was grand! Although I thought it was going to be bigger! I guess at least taller! It has so many rooms! So many guest rooms, bedrooms, everything! I believe there's about 775 according to Google...sooo...you can just imagine how wide it is! I was disappointed because there were no guards with the fuzzy hats and red coats on that day...but that's ok! Maybe next time I'll see them!

Although I've had a rough week that was very emotional I'm happy I stuck to it and didn't go home right away like I wanted to. It's very rough for me to stay right now but I may be leaving London early then expected. But I'm not making up my decision just yet! I have origination soon and I'm going to see how I am when school starts! I miss my family like crazy and I know they want me to have a great time while I'm here. I'm trying to do just that. I'm taking in everything and making the best out of a worse experience. Taylor and Cam will be here soon and maybe knowing they are close will help me. Well I'm about to go back to internet surfing! Maybe try to listen to some music and try to relax! haha! I want to thank all my friends who have texted me to make sure I'm ok! I want to thank my family so much for all their love and support and me facetiming them everyday twice a day. But it comforts me very much to see their faces and my puppy Lilly's face!! I miss and LOVE them sosoosossoososo much!!! You mean the world to me! Love you to the moon and back!!!

Fall 2014 Fashion Trends!

Tuesday, August 5, 2014

Fall is rapidly approaching and you know what that means...2014 fall fashion trends! My favorite season (well one of my favorite including Spring when my birthday is!) for new trends, cozy clothes, warm colors, and crisp weather. Que the cute pug jumping in the leaves!

See! He's happy about fall!! You should be too!! Just because it's back to school season doesn't mean it has to be completely awful! Just think about it...Fall means new clothes, new TV shows #cuddlebuddy, and hot Starbucks drinks!
I'm here to report all the new fall trends and my predictions/favorite fall looks for the upcoming season! As a fashion major a lot of my friends and family ask..."Lizz, what are the new fall trends?! What should I be wearing?!" well...I'm now going to direct them to this post because sometime I hate explaining things not gonna lie. Ok, sit back and relax! Here are the newest fall trends!

~pic~

First things first colors! What are the newest fall colors to try out! My favorite from the list on Women's Wear Daily are Sangria, Aurora Red, Cypress, Royal Blue and Aluminum! Radiant Orchid is over used by now and in my opinion it's better as a spring/summer color. The reds and forest green colors are one's to watch out for!

Like this forest green rain jacket from Urban Outfitters!!! I need to find a new raincoat for London and this one seems to be my pick of choice. I know I wanted a forest green or yellow (Misted Yellow) rain jacket. I looked all day and found this one on UO that I actually liked and didn't break the bank (too much! $89 and $69 on sale) I'm telling you right here, right now you will not be able to find a cute raincoat for more than $100...it sucks...This coat is perfect for fall and won't get all awkward when your wearing an oversized sweater as well! I gotta have it!

CAPES....YES...Capes! I believe we are going to see a lot more capes in the upcoming season as a new fashion trend. I, probably unlike a lot of people, love capes. I have one and love wearing it! But if I had one like this one in the picture I'd be wearing it everyday during fall!

Ahhhhhh...the flare jeans! Oh how I've missed these jeans soooo much! I haven't worn flare jeans probably since the 6th grade (college junior now) and I'm so excited people have started to wear them again. I've been looking even since the 6th grade for a pair of flare jeans and couldn't find them AT ALL until now. Next time you are at the mall go and pick up a pair of flares!

Next up a vest! My favorites are the ones from J. Crew but being a poor college student I'm on the hunt for one cheaper. Keeping up with the forest green color as well, the J.Crew quilted vest is a perfect piece for fall. When it's not too cool and not too warm a vest is the perfect jacket accessory! Also the boyfriend jeans included in the J.Crew themed set I made on Polyvore are another ah-mazing trend! Have you actually worn a pair of boyfriend jeans yet? If not I suggest you do! So comfy!!!

Oh.em.gee...can we throwback to Lizzie McGuire and the jean mini skirt for two seconds. Obsessed. This trend may be coming from left field but I think some people will be making a statement in jean skirts! Also the red sweater! Oversized of course. Perfect for cool days when you just don't feel like getting all dolled up!

I am most definitely not done with fall fashion trends for 2014! But to keep this post not looking like a novel I'm going to stop here. You'll have to follow along to read more! Check out my BlogLovin to follow (I'll follow back just let me know you followed!), follow my Twitter! YouTube channel! And my new Instagram account! Remember my Instagram account is the same name but different account! Oh! and Pinterest if your a pin-head like me!
Let me know in the comments below your favorite upcoming fall trends!!!!

New Instagram! Same Name!

Friday, August 1, 2014

So because technology hates me and doesn't want me to be success I have turned against it and made a new instagram account. Just joking. But I did make a new instagram account because my account was acting weird. It was asking for conformations and blocking me from replying so just to make sure I made a new account. I've been thinking of making a new one only because I didn't like the mood of the pictures and felt like it was a complete mess!!! Now, of course, my wish came true and I'm starting from scratch! (which isn't always a good thing...) It's the same name but a different account! You may see that my old account is now Elizzabeth_Hope. I want to keep everything the same (too bad someone took elizzabethhope.com...they snatched it away from me! *crying emoji*)

If you wouldn't mind go and follow my new Instagram!! I may even follow you back if I see what I like! I also usually like people's photos who have liked mine so go like! I'll like back!!! I hope you follow me on my new insta adventures!!

Lots of love,

The end of an era...The Clique Books.

Sunday, July 20, 2014

After years and years of reading The Clique books I have finally finished the whole series! Now your probably wondering...Lizz your 20 and going to be a junior in college...why are you just finishing this now?! Well, good question! I started reading the series my freshmen year of high school (I believe...It might had been 8th or 7th grade...? I honestly forget) The last book came out Feb. 2011 and I started reading it I think not until 2012 which was my senior year of high school. I would read sections of it everyday until I got to the middle of the book. I didn't want the series to end so I put off reading it until the summer of my freshman year of college was over. I read some more and stopped again at a good place. It wasn't until tonight that I had the courage of reading the last couple of chapters of the series and finish what I started as a worried freshman that didn't know what was going to happen in her high school years.
These books weren't just a book. They taught me so much. About friendship, fashion, different situations I'd be put in during school. Everything I almost needed to know were in these books. I looked up to Massie so much as a kid. So much I wanted to be her. But I was too nice of a person to insult people and act meaner towards them (I was more of a Claire wanting to be like Massie). But that wasn't just what Massie did. I admired her confidence even though she wasn't totally confident all the time. I admired her fashion sense and how she'd help her friends. I wanted to be that Massie. Someone people looked up to and saw as a someone who was cool and not dorky and shy. People would tease me about not swearing as a high schooler and middle schooler (which I didn't see as much as a problem as the people who pointed it out). There was one person who always seemed to want to bring me down but I didn't let them get to me because that was what Massie did. She would keep her cool until she got home and then talked about it with Bean. She wouldn't let people get to her and same with Cuh-laire! I admired both of them for that and brought it in myself to do the same.
The books showed me a whole new world and how nothing really changes once you leave high school and go into college. I'm sure the same goes for college into the real world as well. Lisi did base these books on when she worked at MTV!
It may sound silly but the Clique books really helped me through my teenage years. I don't care if people make fun of me for saying this or make fun of me saying that I wanted to be just like Massie Block and have BFF's just like her's because I know inside they wanted the same. It was addicting. Everyone wanted to be Massie and her Pretty Committee at some point in their lives and if you don't say yes then you are lying! I made a Polyvore with outfits for events that the PC would wear whether it was an OCD dance or meeting a celebrity on Mrs. Marvil's TV show! I would spend HOURS on that website blah-ging about what the girls were doing trying to keep the PC alive still. It showed me how much I love fashion and styling people which continued to my life today! Going to school for fashion design and styling for my school's magazine! Those little details of what the girls were wearing that Lisi included made more of an impact then she probably thought. I learned about designer clothes and their significance to the world. How important designer everything was to some people and how department store buys were other people.
I just finished reading the last book and I couldn't help but cry. It really is an end of an era. The Pretty Committee will forever be in our hearts and inspire us in every way to be who we truly are. I want to thank my best friends for putting up with me/going along with me in telling them they were either Alicia, Kristen, Dylan or Cuh-laire. For my ah-mazing mother for also putting up with me through my teenage years. To my new best friends at college for reminding me that good things are to come. To the people who made the Pretty Committee alive and making a movie of the first Clique books...thank you!!! I've watched the movie at least 40 times and I kid you nawt! Wish you made it into a series...And to Lisi Harrison for helping me get through my challenging teenage years and creating a place I could run away to when things got tough! I will always frequent your blah-g for new adventures (every wednesday!)! I remember when you would put up little spoilers of chapters and I would be counting down the days for the books to go on shelves! Thank you for making reading fun for me! As someone who can't pick up just any book and read it through (I swear I have ADD...) you really made reading fun for me and inspired me to start writing myself! After 20 books and over 6 years of reading I can finally say I have some closure. I know designer clothes aren't everything in the world. I know being popular isn't everything you need to be in the world. And the Clique books have shown me that. I accept myself for who I am and who I'm becoming in the world. It's ok to like designer clothes even though you can't afford them and it's ok to look up to the popular girls who are nicer and learn lessons from the ones who aren't so nice.
Saying goodbye to fictional friends was hard but I'm happy with the ending. Even if I didn't want it to end. I hope to see Massie over in London next semester! *wink wink*

#Vamping

Tuesday, July 8, 2014

I recently just read an article on TeenVogue.com about a newly found terms called "Vamping".  The article talks about how teens these days are still up way past the correct hours of sleep they should be getting everyday. Social media plays into this "staying up late trend" by people tweeting #Vamping all night long. Pulling all-nighters and staying up all day isn't helping your body with the nutrients that it needs.
I have experienced this first hand. As a incoming junior in college and a fashion design major all-nighters are essential to me. There simply aren't enough hours in the day to get EVERYTHING I want to be done done! It's become accustom to me so much that now I can run on 4 to 5 hours of sleep and be fine. Although I'm not completely fine I can live off no sleep till the weekend when I actually get sleep.
For me getting up at 8:30 for my 9:30 class, staying up all day with no naps during the day, and staying up till 3 or 4 in the morning has become easy. I also don't drink any coffee throughout the day(I don't practically like coffee) or energy drinks at all. My body has gotten used to staying up all day and never going to bed with the exceptions of an hour nap here and there. I need those extra few hours to get my sewing done, finish my 5 page research papers, and looking up the latest trends in fashion for styling my school's magazine. I pull at least 1 to 3 all-nighters a semester and not just an "all-nighter" that you go to bed at 4 o'clock in the morning but not going to sleep at all!
Since I never slept well at school coming home for the summer has taken a toll on my body in more than one way. I slept a lot when I first came home but only during the day. When it was time for bed I would be up till at least 3 or 4 in the morning. During the day I would be so cranky and had no ambition to stay awake or do anything. After a week of being home I got sick and couldn't get out of bed. I was still on school time and didn't get much sleep. If I had the right amount of sleep everyday I wouldn't be in this predicament. But instead I stayed up instead of trying to go to bed. It had become a habit never going to sleep at a good time of night.
You are probably wondering what I do while being up so late. Well lets just say I watched the whole series of That So 70's Show (how exciting that Mila and Ashton are really getting married and having a baby! Go Michael and Jackie!!!), season 1 of Beverly Hills 90210(original series! But only season 1 was on Amazon Prime videos and I didn't feel like buying the rest of the series), and 2 seasons of Gossip Girl (which this the 3rd time watching the series!). I also watched about 7 different movies. Including...The Spectacular Now, Ride Along, The Good Girls, Walk of Shame, Endless Love, American Hustle, and That Awkward Moment.
I get in bed at about 10:30/11 and don't go to sleep till 3/4. That's staying in bed for 7 hours! 7 hours I could be sleeping!!! I blame myself and computer scene that I watch the movies and TV shows on. It's straining my eyes and shrinking my brain! I also think I've gotten insomnia from not sleeping because I've gotten so used to not sleeping! Also I do feel my anxiety has gone up since leading me not go to sleep well at night.
You can find me hashtaging #TeamNoSleep at 3 o'clock in the morning or acknowledging that 3 o'clock and I have met again! But now after a few weeks of torture of not sleeping and my cranky attitude and restless moods, I've finally gotten a couple of good nights rest! Not going to bed after 2 clock and waking up at 9 instead of 11. I'm feeling a lot better now!

Lizzie's Tips On Getting a Better Nights Rest!
~ Yoga! - I've also taken up yoga and going to take a meditation class to help me release stress!

~ Read! - Reading before bed instead of watching a TV show! The book I'm reading right now is The Hunger Games! I've watched the movie more than the fingers on my hands and I'm finally reading the book! I'll write a post on my thoughts about it once I'm done reading it! Reading a book before bed makes me tired so I'll want to go to sleep. There are times when I want to keep reading but I like stopping and thinking about what happens next to put me asleep.

~ Bed Spray! - Times when I know I can't fall asleep I spray my lavender bed sheet spray on my sheets. Lavender is such a calming smell for me and it does help me fall sleep faster!

~ Shutting off the laptop at 10:30! - This goes along with reading a book for me. I try to shut off my laptop at 10:30 or 11 o'clock to read till about 12 or 1 depending on how sleepy I am.

~ Drinking water! - Drinking 1 glass water before bed helps prevent heart attacks, yes, but also you need it to keep hydrated. I always feel better in the morning if I drink some water about 30 minutes before I go to sleep. DO NOT drink soda or tea before bed! All the sugar will keep you up!

~ Avoid eating sugary foods! - Avoid eating sugary foods before bed! I tried to fill up while at dinner and have a not at "midnight" snack around 8/8:30. Usually 100 cal popcorn!

Well, that's my story on sleeping or well not sleeping! I loved the article on Teen Vogue (HERE) to help keep awareness about this! I know it doesn't happen to just me! Whenever I go on twitter there's always at least 5 people I know that are also awake! College life = sleepless nights!

Lots of Love,
Lizzie

Last Minute Lizz : 4th of July Edition!

Thursday, July 3, 2014

Pretzel + White Chocolate + M&Ms + Sparkles = Your best last minute treat!

I've made these cute treats so many times for parties and they are always a hit! Who doesn't love pretzels and chocolate! All you have to do is get square pretzels, white chocolate Hershey's, pick out the red M&Ms, and some blue sprinkles! Or blue M&M's and red sprinkles! Put the white chocolate on top of the pretzel...put them on a plate and into the microwave for about 20 seconds (really depends on how strong your micro is! Just until the top half melts!) Take them out and place a M&M on top with a few sprinkles! TaDa! Now, my tip would be to put them in the refrigerator for about a half hour/hour so that the white chocolate doesn't totally melt in this heat wave we've been having!
Have you ever tried these out?! If so let me know! :D

Ahhh...the strawberry dipped in chocolate! White Chocolate! So easy and a sure win at a party! All you need to do is melt down white chocolate chips, dip the strawberries into it and spring on blue sugar or sprinkles!

As you can or cannot tell white chocolate and sprinkles/sugar are a sure win-win products here!

Now for decorations!

A party trend/favorite at the moment would be these adorable printables! These are totally DIY material! Just go to your local crafts store or print them out from different websites! I know Etsy has a ton! You can tape them to straws, popsicle sticks, well any kind of sticks! For a backdrop put up the good old American Flag! Or get some stars to hang around, streamers, tie the ends of bandannas together! They are super fun and a cute way to remember the day! Don't forget to Instagram them later! *wink wink*

This has got to be my favorite last minute decoration idea! Magic flowers! Take a vase (or mason jars! Even cuter!) full them up with water and add red or blue food coloring to them. Buy some white carnations (or any white flowers) and watch the food color color the flowers!! At the end of the night let your guest take home a flower but tell them to put the opposite color and see what happens!

Well that's all I have for you today! Tell me your last minute 4th of July ideas or party ideas!!!

#OOTD Tribal Print

Monday, June 30, 2014

Hollister Jean Top (similar) | Forever 21 Skirt (similar) | PINK Bralette (similar) | J.Crew Bubble Necklace | Longchamp tote | Rebecca Minkoff Sandals (sold out) | Forever 21 Sunglasses and Earrings (old)

Tribal prints have always been one of my favorite trends, especially for summer. I've always had trouble with silhouettes working with my body. I'm more of a pear shape in the sense that my top is wayyyyy smaller than my bottom (aka the hips are big and don't lie!) But I do find that wearing "body con" skirts and dresses with a print (because my body isn't the greatest of shape right now and having solid colors would just show EVERYTHING) work best for my body. I can't always wear circle skirts like I want to because the booty has a mind of its own! Pretty much I can't wear them because they get really short in length and my butt looks huge when I wear them. But big in a not so flattering way...never the less! I love wearing this skirt because I can change the length from micro mini to ankle length!

Now, I ask you! Thoughts on printed skirts! Love it or leave it?!

DKNYJeans with Patches!

Monday, June 23, 2014

One thing I love about fashion is how history repeats itself. Although sometimes it can go horribly wrong (let's hope boys wearing their pants to their ankles never comes back!....oh, wait...it's still around...) never-the-less, like Mr. Timberlake sings what goes around comes around. Fashion is all about recycling! DKNY's new campaign with Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevingne, and A$AP Rocky, which I absolutely love all of them together and will talk about another time, shows Jourdan and Cara both in jeans/jean jacket with different patches on them! It's so 70's hippie but with a twist of 90s! I love it! In the picture to the right we can see Miss Dunn rocking the patchwork pants at a DKNY event. She styles them very simply with a white crop tank top and black heels. Perfect for the summer! This would be a perfect DIY project for the summer! I think I may have to try this out sometime soon! More deets later!

THOUGHTS?! Do you love this look or are you going to skip this trend this fall?

Haute Off The Press!

Thursday, June 12, 2014

There comes a time when we need to stop, take a moment, breath and think about what we are doing. For me this was blogging. Unfortunately I wasn't on top of renewing my other url (elizzabethhope.com) so now I'd like to present my new url! Welcome to Haute Off The Press! (Haute like Haute Couture! Yey Fashion!)

I know I've changed my URL more than enough times. But change can be good! I'm not one for settling for something too long. I switch things up all the time...it's probably ADD or something unknown. But I'm going to stick with this one for a very LONG time! Believe me!

So what have you been up to you say? Well, I have been trying to find a job, catch up on sleep (because we all know college screws up my sleep like no other!), finding inspiration for my line of clothes I'm designing, hanging out with my family and friends before I go off to London in the fall!, and trying to figure out everything with my blog!!! Now that I'm finally getting my life together again and figured out what I should name my blog I can finally get back on track!

Here's some work I've done in school/my life since I've last posted!

Made a jacket! My own design, made the pattern, sewed it all together myself!

Went kayaking for the first time with Tay!!

Saw Iggy in concert!!!

Went to a Red Sox game!

More illustraions for finals!

and got blond...er a lot blonder!!!

That's what I have been doing! But don't let this fool you! I've been on my sofa for days watching the whole series of That 70s Show! I'm on Season 6! It's been 2 weeks...So, what have you've been up to?! Let me now in the comments below!!!

#WorldsToughestJob

Tuesday, April 15, 2014

Elle Magazine put out a tweet about the "Worlds Toughest Job" so of course what do I do but watch what it is! I was pleasantly pleased by the ending reveal of what it was! Being a Mom! I absolutely love the people who got interviewed faces when the guy told them. I know from seeing my Mom that being a Mom isn't easy! Just like the guy says in the video your always on your feet, don't ever get breaks for yourself, and always put the associates first. I defiantly think if you haven't seen this already you should that the time and watch the 4 minute and 7 second video. Think about your Mom and if it isn't too late (like my Mom is deff sleeping right now!) call her and tell her how much you love her. Without her you wouldn't be alive! Go! Now! <3

Thank you Mom for always being there for me! I don't know what I'd do without you! Your my best friend and I love you very much!
