Haute Off The Press Vol. 1 No. 2

Hi everyone!!! Here's to my second Haute Off The Press post! I'm having so much fun with these post! I hope you are enjoying them! Week one went great I think!!! Unfortunately, I couldn't get the podcast up. It was taking so long on Youtube (like 3 hours) and the podcast connector to iTunes website is down. Apparently it's been down for a like a week now. I will keep an eye out for it and post the podcast as soon as it's up again! If not I'll think of something else for Fridays!

#OOTD Tribal Print

Tribal prints have always been one of my favorite trends, especially for summer. I've always had trouble with silhouettes working with my body. I'm more of a pear shape in the sense that my top is wayyyyy smaller than my bottom (aka the hips are big and don't lie!) But I do find that wearing "body con" skirts and dresses with a print (because my body isn't the greatest of shape right now and having solid colors would just show EVERYTHING) work best for my body. I can't always wear circle skirts like I want to because the booty has a mind of its own! Pretty much I can't wear them because they get really short in length and my butt looks huge when I wear them. But big in a not so flattering way...never the less! I love wearing this skirt because I can change the length from micro mini to ankle length! 

Now, I ask you! Thoughts on printed skirts! Love it or leave it?!

SJP : Monogramed Necklace

Hey everyone! Finally! My monogramed necklace has arrived! I've been dying to get one of these for about a year now and since I've been thinking about it for this long I said why not get it! The first person who introduced me to the monogramed necklace was SarahBelle93x on YouTube. I love her style so much! It's amazing you guys have to look her up. I guess you can say her signature piece is her monogramed necklace. She wears it all the time with her outfits and it always looks so classy. So I looked on Etsy.com and found a decently priced monogramed necklace HERE. I knew I was willing to pay at least $50 for mine and I found one for $35! I couldn't resist! (Shopaholic problems I know!....it doesn't help that I'm in college now and practically broke either..) 

I received the necklace today and bought it on the 11th of November. The website said it would take 10-12 days which they stood by. I got the 16 inch chain and my initials. I'm even thinking about getting one that says gMf for Girl Meets Fashion :) how cute would that be! I also want to get a name necklace that would say @elizzabethhope which is my twitter! Follow Me!

Look of the Day : Statement Jewelry
