1. What's your fashion staple piece?
     My favorite fashion staple at the moment is boots!!!!! I love wearing them and they are a great way to dress up an outfit!

2. What can't you leave the house without?
    My iPhone! I know everyone prob says this!!

3. If you had to meet a famous person who would it be?
    At the moment, Jennifer Lawrence because she's awesome!!!!! and I respect her so much as an actress!

4. if you won 1,00,000 on a scratch card what would you spend it on?
    OMG...I'd pay off all my loans and the rest of my college tuition! and get shoes....lots of shoes!

5. Who's youtube account would you like to do a collab with?
    ULTiMATLY Michelle Phan!!!! I've been watching her since the beginning and I know she could make a kick-a$$ video that would make me look realllllly good!

6. What shop do you shop the most in?
    Probably a tie between Forever 21, H&M, and Urban Outfitters. Depends really what I'm looking for.

7. Why did you start your blog?
     To express my opinion in a new way for everyone to read!!! I love to talk so having a YouTube is a place I can get all the words out and blogging for the rest that I forgot to mention! ;D
 8. If you had to be a animal what would you be and why? 
     I'd love to be a dog! A King Charles Caviler Spaniel to be exact! Like my dog Lilly! She's not to big, not to small, I can hold her and play with her. A dog's life is THE LIFE!! They are constant loving and treats! They sleep whenever they want!!! 
 9. If you had to have a tattoo what would you have and why?
    I would get roman numerals on the back of my neck (don't know what numbers yet so that's kind of stupid...) and "Let It Be" on my side near my heart or in white ink on my wrist. 

10. What's your faviroute designer brand?
    I CANT ANSWER THAT! OMG Too many to count but I do LOVE Marchesa dresses!!! Also Chanel (given), Dior, Valentino, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang...just to name a few ;)

11. Who is your faviroute model?
      Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn, and Cara Delevingne!!! I knew about Miss Delevingne before she was FAMOUS FAMOUS! Just saying!!!
    12: What's your faviroute fashion blog?
      Always and forever The Blonde Salad! She inspired me to start my very own blog!!!

1. What is your favorite candle scent?
     I don't really have a favorite because I don't burn candles often but I love fruity, flower, things that remind me of the beach scents and also lavender!

2. Who is your favorite beauty blogger?
    I love Michelle Phan but I also enjoy watching MeghanRosette and Lauren Elizabeth!

3. How many shoes do you own?
     Too many to count....around 45 or more? (that's including flip flops from Old Navy that I have about 12 of!)

4. What is your favorite makeup brand?
     MAC! Always! Love it!

5. What is your most used product?
    Bare Minerals powder foundation and my MAC lipsticks 

6. What person would you love to meet?
    Jennifer Lawrence!!! I think unlike other celebs she'd be like "What to go get a hamburger with me?!" I think we'd have a lot of fun!!!

7. What makeup brushes do you use?
    I have a couple of makeup brushes from MAC, I mostly use ones from Target (I think they are studio tools?), and one's I've gotten from makeup kits!

8. What do you never forget when packing to travel? 
    My stuffed animals and a picture of my dog Skippy who passed away when I was in the 6th grade. He's my good luck charm!

9. What moisturizers do you use?
    Coconut Oil! Yes, like the one you'd get from the grocery store!!! haha!!! BEST THING EVER!

10. What do you do in your spare time?
      Sew, blog, watch YouTube videos, and play with my puppy when I'm home and not at school.

11. Why did you start your blog?
      Like I said in the other questions...so I can say my opinion on things and to tell everyone my tips and tricks!!! It's like your my little sisters (and brothers if there are boys watching) and big sisters/brothers!

1. Yoga Pants!!!! Dress them up with a nice sweater and statement necklace!

2. Crazy Pants!!! Comfy just like pajamas but they are dressy so you can wear them out to eat or even to class!! Wear a solid colored shirt with not to much details on it so it doesn't collide with the pants.

3. Concert Tees!! We all have those days where we have nothing to wear or don't want to wear anything dressy. Concert tees are perfect for these days. Dress them up with a hat like a beanie or baseball cap and printed pants like these army green ones from the Gap!

2014 Trend : Matching Separates!

It might just be me but I've been seeing matching separates trending for this season. Watch out world! This will be on the top of the trend lists of Spring 2014! Why wear a dress when you can wear two pieces of the same color! Marc Jacobs is doing it, Michael Kors is doing it, and Chanel has done it from the start. I'm loving this trend! I'm defiantly going to sew together some matching separates asap!! I'll make sure to take pictures and put them up here of course!

New Years!!!

3......2.....1!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!! (Que the kisses at midnight!!!! and for all who are single...bring on the drinks!) I probably say this every New Years but OH GAWD this year went by so fast! Life needs to slow down!!! I haven't accomplished all I need to! - well that and  I found I'm getting ridiculously lazy....that needs to stop for 2014! Now, if I was to go shopping on New Years day - which you know I'll probably be doing - this is something I'd wear. Something quick to change out of just in case I want to try something on and a small over-the-shoulder bag which is in my shopping purse essentials!

The look is for the party! If I had a fabulous party to attend! The shoes are Miu Miu and totally ah-mazing! I need them in my life like now! Of course I'd be wearing a red dress because red is my favorite color and I went for a statement necklace instead of big earrings (I'm just getting used to big statement earrings...I think they are starting to make a comeback!)

Merry Christmas + The Uptown Girl!

Tis the season to be jolly! As they say this time of year! And tis the season to change things up! Of course...but Cheers to a new year and a new me!!! Now...I introduce you to...The Uptown Girl!!!! The name has been in my head forever now and well...here it is!
Well your probably wondering...who is The Uptown Girl?
She's basically my alter ego but me? Does that make sense? I'm going to have fashion, beauty, and life advice here on The Uptown Girl. So follow along with me and The Uptown Girl through life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. Jk, but life yes!
